AP Lit is a course focused on developing students’ ability to critically read and analyze literary texts (poetry, prose, and drama). Analysis is similarly an essential component of this course, with the added difficulty of delving into more complex texts.

I took AP Euro as a sophomore and got a 4, and took AP US as a junior and got a 5. In my opinion, the AP Euro exam (and class, at my school) was a lot harder.

AP Lit is easy. Don’t feel the need to take it if your college wont care that you are taking it senior year and the credits are the same. it’ll be a waste of time. Only take it if you are planning on applying to slightly more competitive schools (acceptance lower than, like 40 or 50%).
